All I can say is read your quests... If you do you get the pleasure of skipping through a good chunk of pointless food gathering.

You'll still have to find Vindachinerk but at least you get the inventory upgrade super early and with less hassle.

Fortress Raid

So in the Abyss one of the "end game" activities is fortress raiding and conquering artifacts. Last night I was able to join Reminisce in their attempts to conquer a fortress.

It began actually past weekend in an attempt to take down Sulfur fortress. We managed to take down some Asmos and get an artifact but failed in getting Sulur.

Yesterday however I was invited to try again with another fortress. The guardian boss was HUGE! I want to be able to tank that one day but Gookie did an awesome job tanking! He will be my templar crush from this day on :P

Long story short we were successful! Eat that Asmos! :)

Elyos' obsession with Pigs...

So I have been playing the game for about 2 weeks now on the Elyos side. BEsides pvp and some minor group dungeon I havent been doing anything that cool yet. Waiting on Legion to be higher so maybe I can attempt fortresses. So I had time to look back.

Since then I noticed one thing that is reoccuring so far. Elyos' obsession with pigs. Within the first 10 levels you are asked to find Tutty a lost pet pig.

Then around 15 or so you go on another adventure to save another favored pig... and proceed to escort the bitch out of a freaking death trap!

I guess two instances with pigs isnt that much... but I am still warning you Elyos if you freaking have me risk my life again for some bacon I am gonna have to shield bash your face!

Seriously Is Tutty really that big of a deal you are going to name your Legion after it? Its called pork chops ppl...

Goodbye Triniel, Hello Fregion!

Last weekend I decided that Triniel was way too crowded and so migrated to a new job, new race, and new server on Fregion.

Goodbye Kero the Asmodian Assassin and Hello Keroro the Elyos Templar.

Templar class is a tank class in Aion. And although this is the first time I played a tank class, as I normally perfer Thief and Ranged classes, I grown into liking it alot. Slower at killing, templars have amazing survivalbility and do decent damamge considering. Also apparently in PVP they rock. :) Always a bonus since Asmodians out number Elyos and are in general higher level.

Also amazingly I made it from lvl 1-20 in one weekend on Fregion while on Triniel it took me about a week to progress as far. My crafting and gathering skills are pretty much where I left them off in Triniel as well.

The Elyos story differs on many levels compared to the Asmodian story. They seem to be alot more welcoming and concern over your character's status. Also when I reach Sanctum I was cheered versus my Asmosdian welcome of "WTF why are you here".

It gets cold in Morheim so I decided to take cover under Legion mate Aenima... Altimit proceed to use him as a footrest... but why in hell did the cleric not spend the MP to heal the bitch?!

After 10 minutes of gauking I felt sad and attempted to find consolation from the Elm... but he just ignored my emo rants....

Wait... No Gunpla?

At first I thought I would play more or less in character of Keroro. So when it came to deciding my craft it was an easy choice. I mean if there weren't going to be gunpla in Aion I would pick the next thing... trickets aka Handicraft!

I have to say though that crafting in general is alot of fun. I like you can somewhat gather materials you need whether it be from farming monsters to gather material locations on the map. The only downside is how sparatic HQing items can be. Despite having 100+ skill I can't seem to HQ crafting 30 levels lower.

Though I did manage to create some Rose Quartz Earrings and Amethyst Earrings for my friends Nepitis and Altimit --'--,<@

But I will have to say freaking Aether is annoying as hell to gather. The fact that flight time is fairly limited and gather can take longer then expected I fell to my death on many occasion.

Hello! This is going to be my first game blog so please be nice. It will be based on my Aion character Kero on Triniel. I can't say how interesting this blog is going to be but here goes.

I guess I will start off by giving alittle background of myself. I've played a few MMOs now including FFXI, Alantica, WoW and RF. I started playing Aion in its last day of Open Beta and I starting playing officially 9/20/09.

I am sure all of you know already know how cluster fucked the servers are right now. And I can't say launch was anything but frustrating but that aside I am looking forward to things to come.
